Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age fourteen. She began training in kickboxing boxing wrestling and BJJ before making her first amateur appearance at 18 at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd later went on to beat three times within a row in Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the opponents she defeated were defeated within the first five minutes. Aspen returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia outclassed Aspen and beat her in a unanimous decision to put a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff, and increased her record for amateurs to 8-1. Aspen started her professional career in 2015, signing to Invicta FC for her professional debut. Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, where she dominated her, securing a first-round TKO. Her next bout was a win against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. She then fought at bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen employed her skills in wrestling to take out McGill with a TKO during the third round (elbows & punches). She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) because Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen was a dominant Hoy and defeated her in the second round with a TKO. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her last fight for the company. The winner was Sijara Ebanks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She faced Linalansberg during UFC Fight Night 118. She dominated Lina through ground-and-pound and won the TKO round later in the 2nd. In her next fight, she overcame Tonya Evinger more convincingly. Ladd defeated Evinger by a punch in the initial round, and earned a performance of the night bonus. Her first major fight came during her subsequent fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. The two fighters had one of the most competitive fights that Ladd was victorious by a majority decision. The two fighters each received their Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd in just 16 seconds to end her losing streak. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in the 3rd round at UFC 7 on ESPN. Her most recent bout for the UFC she took on Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. Her defeat was decided by majority verdict.
