Antonella Barba

The birthplace of the Barba family was Santa Monica California, the United States of America on the 26th of November, 1986. She is the daughter of her dad Vincenzo as well as her mom Valerie Barba. She and her family moved from Point Pleasant in New Jersey, at 6. She completed her high school studies in New Jersey at Red Bank Catholic High School. She graduated from Catholic University in New Jersey with a bachelor's degree. Her first violin lessons began at the age four, and became known by the name Violin Girl. She was referred to by her first name because of her performances. Children from her community were taught to play violin through her. When she turned 19, she sang Free 1976 American Idol in the 6th season. However, she was eliminated from the competition after she reached 16th place. She has also performed several other songs like 'The Christmas Song (2009) and Out for Blood (2010). Additionally, she was a guest on a few shows, including Jimmy Kimmel Live! Antonella Barba rose to stardom when she sang in America in the sixth season of American Idol. Her career began as a film actress after being eliminated from American Idol following six seasons. In 2012 she appeared in Fear Factor as a contestant and played parts in minor roles in various films. Daily Mail said that, in November 21st, 2019 she was sentenced to the equivalent of a four-year sentence for collaborating to distribute the drug fentanyl. In July the singer was found guilty of possessing over 400 grams of Fentanyl with intent to distribute. However she was arrested for attempting to transport nearly two pounds of the substance to a house of stash in Virginia in October 2018. Click to read more on the controversial figure.
