Sharon Yvonne Stone, born 10 March 1958 at Meadville (Pennsylvania), is the daughter of Dorothy Lawson, a former factory worker, as well as Joseph William Stone, a tool maker and die maker. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her three siblings. Stone began the second grade at five years old. She was considered to be academically gifted. She earned a high school certificate at Saegertown located in Saegertown located in Pennsylvania in 1975. She was also a contestant for the Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, winning Miss Crawford County. Stone moved to New Jersey in 1977 with her aunt to pursue a career as an actress. In less than a month she signed up with Ford Modeling Agency. While in Europe, she was able to spend a whole year in Milano and Paris. Stone was, however, unhappy with acting and modeling in Europe. She chose to pursue her career acting as a model while living in Europe. Stone appeared in Woody Allen's film "Stardust Memories" in the year 20. The film received diverse reactions.
