Tom Selleck

Tom SelleckThomas William Selleck is an American actor from America. His most famous character was Thomas Magnum, a private investigator in the television series Magnum, P.I. (1980-1988) and for which he earned five Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Lead actor in the Drama Series which he won in 1985. Since 2010 Selleck has been co-starring in the role of New York City Police Commissioner Frank Reagan in the series Blue Bloods. Beginning in 2005 the actor played troubled small-town police chief Jesse Stone in nine television films that were based on the Robert B. Parker novels.In films, Selleck has played bachelor architect Peter Mitchell in Three Men and a Baby (1987) and its sequel Three Men and a Little Lady (1990). In addition to his roles in Magnum, P.I., Selleck has appeared in over 50 films and television shows, which include the films Quigley Down Under, Mr. Lassiter, baseball. He was the recurring TV role of Monica Geller's love interest Dr. Richard Burke in Friends as Lance White (the likeable but ignorant) on The Rockford Files and as A.J. Cooper in Las Vegas.
